A lil side note… New York is one of my absolute favourite cities in the world and I could not be more delighted to visit the city that never sleeps on official YOGART business 🙂 Being this excited, naturally I dipped into past adventures in Gotham…below are a few of my favourite captured memories from the last 2 years of NYC visits…
Manhattan is just the beginning…graffiti in Williamsburg, Brooklyn
A classic shot from a classic view point -Empire State Building
Williamsburg Bridge sandwich (view from Williamsburg, BK)
Something I never experience when in NY (Williamsburg, BK)
Love, pride, & blue sky (Williamsburg, BK)
One of my favourite characters to see and hang with when in NY…me and Fenton go way back
Can’t wait for sunny hangouts and some serious catching up with my friend Mandi
This was a fun morning that ended in a leisurely day in Long Beach watching the NY surfers catch waves
Seeing her body of work as a whole was truly a treat: Cindy Sherman exhibit at the MoMA (2012)
Sigh…my other beauty that I cannot wait to embrace! Sushi in Midtown with Brianne
Celebrating my birthday with a walk in central Park with good friends and my favourite treat! ! I was in town for an arts conference and my birthday landed on the same day the clouds cleared and rain stopped after a week long downpour that coincided with the scheduling of the keynote speaker Chuck Close -who happens to be my favourite living artist (!!!)
Sailboats in Central Park
Coffee at MUD in the East Village
Rooftop dancing with the Williamsburg Bridge backdrop
A lovely afternoon in DUMBO filled with bookstore browsing, hot cocoa from Jacques Torres Chocolate, and a ride on the freshly restored carousel (c. 1922)
